Sometimes I have romantic notions of inviting an intimate group of friends over for some festive sips + snacks. Then I snap-to HELLO — GLOBAL PANDEMIC. But, when we’re free to partake in shindigs again, I’m throwing the shindiest shindig of the shindigs with these eight self-serve party recipes.
I doubt tequila is the answer. but it’s worth a shot.
We’ve been sheltering-in-place since March. Our littlest guy is severely asthmatic and hyper-prone to lung infections. Three Pediatric ICU admissions was all we needed to realize staying home and limiting our exposure is the only plan for us. I can’t fathom him in the hospital, unable to breathe on his own — without me there to hold him.
So, home is where we’ll stay.
This too shall pass, ya know. And when it does, we are gonna throw down.
Until then, let’s fantasize about gathering to grub on these creatively delicious self-serve party treats.

Napkins, that’s all we need. Oh, and those cute mini wooden ice cream spoons. I love all things mini.
